So, people are talking about their accomplishments this year, the art they drew each month, things like that. But for me personally, I didn't get much done because I got sick a lot and spent most of it waiting to go get a hernia surgery.
Uhhh... uncomfortable! Imagine having a huge lump in your scrotum and your balls are pushed to the side at all times. It was kind of painful.
At least I have my water bottle with me...
I shouldn’t bore you with the details, but the big moment for me was the 18 hour stay in the Emergency Room, which I wanted to share some pictures of because that was neat. I got scanned there and they sent out a referral to a surgeon, and that was it. They gave me an egg salad sandwich in the morning.
Waiting...
And of course there was the day of the actual surgery, where I'll always remember how they listened to Sabrina Carpenter as I got put to sleep.
On the one hand that was a really cool thing I got to experience, but it's also kind of difficult not to get existential because it's almost like I got to experience what death feels like. And when I woke up it was like an instant time jump, which was really cool, but also like, it was kind of spooky.
The most difficult thing I got to experience wasn't any of that, but it was actually before, where I was getting sick a whole bunch and was extremely congested, and I’m talking like ultra super mega congested. Imagine coughing, choking, nearly puking at all times, and barely even able to get to sleep because like the tubes in your nose are like clogged and swollen.
When it comes to after my surgery, the hardest thing was probably just getting in and out of bed, and I could barely walk that first week of recovery. I also got nauseous because my stomach was really sensitive, so I got to live off Chicken Noddle Soup for a while. So, yeah, literal tummy ache survivor.
Anyways, now, like three months after the surgery, I seem to be fine. And I'm not getting sick anymore, which I'm so happy about. And I can eat whatever I want again!
I still look down sometimes just to check, and nope, sure enough, the lump I had is no longer there. My balls look normal. I was actually afraid for a moment because the lump did seem to resurface sometime after my surgery, but apparently that was just some fluid and left over tissue, so I had nothing to worry about, it’s gone now.
Hey, while we're here giving out too much information, I don't feel the mesh inside me most of the time, except for when I get horny and masturbate, I do feel the mesh then. But it's fine, it doesn’t really hurt, it’s just noticeable in that specific instance.
I don’t have any goals for the New Year, I just wanna stay active and live life the best I can for 2026. I think that's good enough for now.
